    How long does it take to finish a personalised jigsaw?

    If you've done photo jigsaws before, a good rule of thumb is that if you double the number of pieces, you increase the time needed by four. So if a 100-piece puzzle takes you 30 minutes, a 200-piece puzzle might take around two hours. It’s suggested that a 500-piece puzzle will take the average person about five or six hours. Experienced puzzlers can complete a 1,000-piece personalised jigsaw in about 10 hours, but the average person might need up to 24 hours.

    What type of photo will make a jigsaw puzzle more or less difficult?

    Images with well-defined colours and areas of interest tend to make jigsaw puzzles easier, as you can assemble each part separately before putting the whole picture together. Good contrast in your photo helps, while murky and blurry images make things harder.

    Can photo jigsaws be framed like photos or drawings?
