Our latest yearbook designs are here
By Photobox on 10 December 2025
Is it just us, or did 2025 last about five minutes? Before the year wraps up, it’s time to print all your best and funniest moments in one of our brand new year photo book designs.

Okay, be honest. If you scrolled back to January on your phone right now, would you even remember taking half of those photos? Between the screenshots of memes, the blurry accidental pocket-snaps and the seventeen (almost-identical) photos of your dinner, there are some absolute gems in there. The big milestones, sure (holidays, birthdays, weddings etc.), but also the little, had-to-be-there, ‘life is wonderful’ moments that made up the majority of your 2025.
The problem? They’re stuck on a device. And we know they deserve better. We’re huge fans of the annual photo book tradition, obviously. And to help you get those memories off the digital cloud and into your hands, we’ve dropped six beautiful (if we do say so ourselves) new year in review photo book themes. Whether you’re looking for yearly family photo books full of colour or a minimal year photobook, we’ve got a vibe to match. Let’s take a look.
1. Pebble Retro
Available in Square, Portrait and Landscape
Into cosy neutrals colours? Then Pebble Retro is for you. Flicking through the pages, you’ll notice the background (as well as the front cover) leans heavily into a sandy beige palette, which adds a lovely warmth to the page without distracting from your snaps.
To give your 2025 photos the spotlight they deserve with layouts that frame your snaps with thick white borders (giving them a cool vintage Polaroid feel), mixed with full-page spreads for your absolute faves. We’ve used a classic and clean serif font for the dates to keep that nostalgic ‘old-school album’ feel. It’s laid-back, stylish and a brilliant choice for any family yearbook.

2. Sage and Film
Available in Landscape
The first thing you’ll notice on this design is the cool ‘film strip’ style on the cover. We’ve grouped photos into horizontal reels (complete with those gaps in between) and paired them with a fresh sage green background.
Inside, things get a little quieter. We’ve swapped the green for clean white pages to let your photos do the talking. The focus here is on storytelling sequences, using an elegant fine serif typography. Why not use the format to show the ‘before, during, and after’ of a funny moment (or a series of candid shots from a holiday)? If you want a yearly picture book that feels a bit cinematic, this is the one to go for.

3. Spine and Story
Available in Landscape – Cobalt, Terracotta, Beige
If you’re the kind of person who colour-codes their bookshelf (we see you), this design is the dream. It stands out thanks to the bold colour block running down the spine. You can go for Cobalt, Terracotta or Beige and all are finished with a vertical editorial font that gives it a trendy graphic edge.
We’ve kept the layouts inside satisfyingly organised, using neat white borders and clean grids so your photos always look tidy. A fabulous option for an annual photo album that looks properly chic on the shelf.

4. Happy Stripes
Available in Square
Minimalists, look away now. Happy Stripes is loud, proud and a lot of fun. The first thing you spot (after the colourful stripes, obviously) is the wavy, scalloped frame on the cover that gives a kind of sticker effect.
That energy carries on inside too, and we’re here for it. You’ll see mix-and-match two-tone backgrounds – like a pink top half and a gold bottom half – ready to really make the pages pop. We’ve matched the vibe with a chunky, playful font and rounded off the corners of the photos to keep everything feeling soft and friendly. A colourful year photo album choice if your 2025 was full of laugh-out-loud moments and big energy. Making a family yearbook? The kids are going to be obsessed with this one.

5. Snapshots and Script
Available in Landscape
Struggling to pick just one photo for the front cover? (We get it, it’s impossible). That’s why we love Snapshots and Script. It’s got a ready-made mosaic layout on the front, so you can show off a whole highlight reel before you’ve even opened your yearly photo book.
And can we take a moment for the font? We’ve used an elegant and flowing script for the ‘Year in review’ title so that it feels extra personal – almost like a handwritten note. Inside, we’ve kept things classic with clean white pages and neat grids, which keeps the focus exactly where it should be – on your memories. This year photo book design is a great option if you want a year in review photo album to feel understated and grown-up.

6. Poppies and Memories
Available in Portrait and Landscape
If you’ve ever bought a blank scrapbook with the best intentions (and then left it in a drawer), Poppies and Memories is the answer. It gives you that proper handcrafted feel without you even having to pick up a glue stick.
We love the little artistic details on this one, like the delicate line drawings of poppies weaving around your snaps. Even the text is styled to look like handwritten notes or sketches. It’s romantic in style and is a beautiful choice for a wedding photo book of the year or a through the years photo album full of quiet and candid moments.
